Success in Level X Racing
A huge well done to all the swimmers for racing so well in our recent Level X meets. There was a really high number of PBs and first swims in many events, so well done to you all.
We also had 5 club records broken so huge congratulations to Larissa (18-year-old, 50m fly), Toby (13-year-old, 50m free), James (15-year-old, 50m back) and Freddie (18-year-old, 50m breast and 100m breast). The new records can be found here.
Please do not be downhearted about a DQ; try to learn from it so that you improve as a swimmer! If you were disqualified in an event, please feel free to ask for details of the reason, so that you can try to work on this, with the coaches, in training.
For the older swimmers, getting near your PB was really good work given the amount of training you have been able to do over the last few months due to Covid-19.
The times are now on the swim portal and on Swim England rankings.
The results will also be sent off for our team entries into the Hertfordshire League. The team results will be published as soon as possible.
The Club would like to say a huge thank you to Bryan Thompson, Chris Stanley and all the judges and timekeepers, as well as all the poolside helpers getting the swimmers in the right place at the right time. Thank you very much, as the Club cannot run events like this without our fantastic volunteers.
