Harpenden Swimming Club is a supportive, ambitious, and competitive club. We expect every swimmer to compete at a level that matches their ability — and we’ll help them get there.
From our youngest members to seasoned competitors, we focus on building strong technique, stamina, and confidence. This foundation gives every swimmer the best chance to grow, progress, and enjoy the sport for life.
Progression through the squads is earned through consistent attendance, coachability, and a commitment to mastering technique — across all strokes, starts, and turns. Swimmers move up when they’re ready for more demanding training, not just when they hit a certain speed. The journey is structured, supportive, and tailored to help each swimmer reach their full potential.

- Trial session dates will be posted here — once released, email us to confirm your place
Already have competitive experience or moving from another club? Let us know your background and include your best times. We’ll aim to arrange an ad hoc trial during one of our weekly sessions.
